BasiCamps are designed to introduce your child to a musical instrument and some basic knowledge of music notation. Each camp is one hour per week for six weeks and concludes with a short recital by the students. The tuition not only covers the camp, but also the instrument, AND the students get to keep it…forever!
Recorder – Students will learn easy rhythms, fingerings and tone production on a soprano recorder and will be introduced to other wind instruments including flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone. Each student will receive a soprano recorder to keep and even get to choose the color!
Recorder colors to choose from: Red, Green, and Blue
Bucket Drumming – Students will learn easy rhythms and percussion techniques and will be introduced to other instruments in the percussion family including snare drums, keyboard mallet instruments, and hand percussion. Each student will receive a pair of drum sticks and a practice pad to keep!
Ukulele – Students will learn several chords and basic strumming patterns on a soprano ukulele and will be introduced to other instruments in the guitar family including acoustic and classical guitars. Each student will receive a soprano ukulele to keep and even get to choose the color!
Ukulele colors to choose from: Red, Green, Blue, Purple, Black, Brown, or Yellow
Enrollment Option 1: ALL THREE CLASSES – BEST VALUE!
When enrolling in all three instrument camps, you get a significant discount off your tuition. For only $245, you get 18 weeks of camp, plus all three instruments to keep. You don’t even have to take the camps consecutively. You can wait until the timing is right when future camps are offered.
Enrollment Option 2: One Camp at a Time – Receive a $10 discount for returning students taking their second class or $15 off their third class.
